Israeli occupation courts approved administrative detention orders on Sunday against 5 detainees from occupied Jerusalem, for periods ranging between 4 and 6 months. The Jerusalem Governorate stated that the detainees are: Ayman Muhammad Abd al-Fattah Hawshiya from Qatanna village for 4 months, Ismail Musa Yusuf Taha from the same village for 6 months, Sameh Fakher Fakhri Abu al-Halawa from Qalandia camp for 6 months, Yousef Abd al-Rahim Othman al-Khatib from the camp for 4 months, and Nayef Ibrahim Nayef al-Mahdi from al-Ram town for 4 months. Administrative detention allows the occupation to detain Palestinians without filing charges or a trial, based on a so-called "secret file", with the possibility of renewing detention orders repeatedly.
