"Not Urich, not Topez, and not Broverman": Netanyahu's former chief of staff speaks out
Yoav Horowitz, formerly Netanyahu's chief of staff, sharply criticizes the prime minister following suspicions of ties between his office and Qatar. In an interview with 103FM, he asserts that the issue is not Yonatan Urich or other employees, but Netanyahu himself, and demands an immediate investigation by the Shin Bet and police. Horowitz warns of a "next October disaster" without lessons being learned.
Yoav Horowitz, formerly the chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, gave an extensive interview to 103FM in which he harshly attacked Netanyahu over suspicions revealed about ties between the Prime Minister's Office and Qatar. Horowitz stated unequivocally that "it's not Urich, not Topez, and not Broverman. The issue is Netanyahu," and emphasized that Netanyahu is aware of everything happening in his office. He called for an immediate investigation by the Shin Bet and police, arguing that Israeli citizens should assume as a working premise that there are suspects of aiding the enemy in the Prime Minister's Office, including suspicion of the prime minister himself. Horowitz warned of a "next October disaster" without an investigation and lessons learned, comparing Netanyahu's conduct to that of Gadi Eisenkot, who he said takes responsibility and sets a personal example. According to him, Netanyahu avoids responsibility, takes credit for successes, and blames failures on others. Horowitz claimed that Netanyahu saw the security warnings before October 7, 2023, as an attempt to bring him down politically, and therefore did not take them seriously.
