Kfar Giladi Quarries won a tender to operate the Kadarim quarry in the Galilee for 24 years. The site holds reserves of about 40 million tons, and the company plans to invest tens of millions of shekels in its renewal, ahead of the end of operations at the Amiad quarry.

Kfar Giladi Quarries won a tender to operate the Kadarim quarry in the Galilee for a period of 24 years. The site, located on Highway 85, includes reserves of about 40 million tons, with an expected annual output of 1.5 to 2 million tons. The company plans to invest tens of millions of shekels in renewing the site and implementing new technologies, and about 20 employees are expected to work at the complex alongside local suppliers and contractors. The quarry will replace operations at the Amiad quarry and will enable the supply of raw materials to existing and new customers. The move comes against the backdrop of infrastructure development plans in the north, including the extension of Highway 6, development of railways and roads, and projects for building fortification.
