Murder suspicion in the north: 25-year-old shot dead in Yafia

A murder investigation has been opened in northern Israel after a 25-year-old man was shot dead in a violent incident in Yafia, near Nazareth. MDA emergency teams who were called to the scene found him unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with penetrating wounds to his body, and were forced to pronounce his death at the scene. A senior MDA medic, Alaa al-Din Bashir, who treated the victim, said: "The victim was lying unconscious without a pulse and not breathing with penetrating wounds to his body after being injured in a violent incident. We performed medical checks and unfortunately had to pronounce his death at the scene."
