More than a million passengers will pass through Ben Gurion Airport during Sukkot: These are the busiest days

The most popular destinations: Greece, Cyprus, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, the USA, Germany, Georgia, and France. The peak is expected on September 24 with 105,000 passengers. Ramon and Haifa airports and land border crossings are also expected to see heavy traffic.
The Israel Airports Authority has completed its preparations for the Sukkot holiday crowds at Ben Gurion Airport, with over a million passengers expected to pass through the airport during the holiday period, from Tuesday, September 22 (the day after Yom Kippur) to Sunday, October 4 (Isru Chag). The main destinations Israelis are expected to fly to during this period are Greece, Cyprus, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Germany, Georgia, and France. The crowds are expected to peak as early as Thursday, September 24, with about 105,000 passengers on 614 flights. On Thursday, October 1, an additional 100,000 passengers are expected. Other airports will also see significant traffic: about 35,000 passengers at Ramon and about 22,000 at Haifa. About 157,000 passengers are expected to pass through land border crossings, with the busiest crossing being Begin (Taba) with about 50,000 passengers. The authority recommends that passengers pay the passenger fee in advance, check in from home, and print luggage tags at self-service kiosks. Passengers with carry-on luggage only can use the fast track at Terminals 1 and 3. Reservists and security forces personnel are advised to ensure that no ammunition parts or items that could delay boarding remain in their bags.
