Meta announced at its Meta Connect conference two new AI-powered game development tools, Horizon Create and Horizon Studio, which convert simple text commands into fully integrated 2D or 3D games for phones. Both tools are now available in early access. Horizon Create is a standalone mobile app that allows users to describe the game they want as if explaining it to a friend, or start with a ready-made template. The AI then builds a playable game featuring progression systems, balanced difficulty, artistic direction, and multiplayer modes. Characters, story, and art style can be modified. Horizon Studio offers the same concept via a browser with finer control and requires no installation. Published games can appear directly on Facebook, Instagram, and Horizon pages. Each game undergoes safety checks and automatic age rating before release. This update comes as the Horizon platform moves toward mobile devices.
