At the Meta Connect 2026 conference held last night, Meta unveiled a range of new hardware products, led by VR glasses weighing only 100 grams—five times lighter than the Quest 3 glasses. The glasses offer a 5K display, micro-OLED screens, and a multi-screen virtual workspace. Alongside them, the Ray-Ban Meta Audio models without cameras were launched, focusing on listening and voice calls, starting at $349. The software highlight is the upgrade of the Muse agent to full control over computer applications, similar to Claude Code, and a personalized voice. Also presented was the Muse Charm pocket gadget, allowing conversation with artificial intelligence without needing a phone. Prices range from $249 for entry-level models to $1,299 for the VR glasses, which will be marketed in spring 2027. There is no official launch date for Israel yet, but the accelerated development is expected to pose a regulatory challenge given the penetration of AI-based photography and listening devices.
