Maoz responds to Lieberman: "Judea and Samaria were ours and will remain ours"

MK Avi Maoz, chairman of the Noam party, responded sharply today (Wednesday) to the proposal by Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman to transfer security and administrative responsibility for Areas A and B in Judea and Samaria to Jordan. Maoz published a response on the social network X, in which he addressed Lieberman directly: "Avigdor my friend, I want to remind you of something you knew when you were with us once in the right-wing bloc: Judea and Samaria are an inseparable part of the Land of Israel, the heritage of our forefathers. They were ours, they are ours today, and they will remain ours forever." Maoz stated that in the next Knesset he will work to promote a sovereignty law that will make it clear and unequivocal that Judea and Samaria are part of the State of Israel. Maoz's remarks join a series of responses from right-wing figures, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and chairman of the Amcha Israel party Ofer Winter, who criticized Lieberman's proposal.
