Forgot about Force 100: Shikli broke the boycott and arrived at Channel 12 studio

Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Shikli arrived today (Wednesday) at Channel 12's studio, violating a clear commitment he signed at the beginning of the year. The minister then joined an initiative of elected officials from the national camp who demanded to stop their appearances on the channel following the biased publications in the affair of Force 100 fighters at the Sde Teiman base. In January, it was published on C14 that Shikli signed a firm letter alongside other ministers and Knesset members, in which they protested the publication of an edited and blurred video on Channel 12, which was accompanied by commentary attributing serious acts to the reserve fighters. In the letter, the elected officials presented three demands: publication of a public apology to the fighters, complete removal of the publications from the network, and taking disciplinary measures against reporter Guy Peleg and all those involved in the broadcast. At the end of the letter, it was clarified that the elected officials undertake not to respond to any request to appear or be interviewed on the channel's programs until all conditions are fully met. Despite this, Shikli arrived at the studio, even though it has not been published that the channel's management has fulfilled any demand. No response has been received from the minister yet.
