The program host agreed that Tisch would be a leading candidate. Paterson sharply attacked current Mayor Eric Adams, siding with Prime Minister Netanyahu, who called Adams 'the antisemitic mayor.' This refers to Adams' threats to handcuff Netanyahu during his visit to New York over the International Criminal Court arrest warrant, a threat from which Adams was forced to retreat. In contrast, current New York Governor Kathy Hochul defended Adams and accused Netanyahu of slandering him and not telling the truth.
