Ben Shitrit emphasized that Yisrael Beiteinu is a right-wing, national, liberal party and will form a government only from Zionist parties.
Rafi Ben Shitrit, a candidate from the Yisrael Beiteinu party (Yisrael Beiteinu) led by Avigdor Liberman, spoke on 103fm radio on Sunday. He stated that Yisrael Beiteinu will not enter a coalition with Arab parties, particularly Ra'am, and with any anti-Zionist or non-Zionist lists, calling this the "Hungarian model." Ben Shitrit also reaffirmed the party's consistent position: not to cooperate with Haredim as long as they encourage draft dodging and desertion and do not teach the core curriculum. He characterized Yisrael Beiteinu as a right-wing, national, liberal party that will create a government only from Zionist parties. Earlier, it was reported that Liberman's staff is developing a plan by which he will try to take the position of head of government, bypassing Gadi Eisenkot. The plan includes creating a new right-wing bloc with Naftali Bennett and Ofer Winter, as well as appealing to backbench Likud members.
