Lapid closes the door on the Joint List: "What nonsense, complete rubbish"
Yair Lapid denied in an interview reports of coordination with the Joint List, calling them "complete rubbish." He claimed there is no intelligence justification to attack Iran now, and that Prime Minister Netanyahu is conducting a "political game" around a security agenda. Lapid criticized the coalition's conscription policy and the Likud's election slogans.
Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid denied reports of coordination with the Joint List ahead of the elections in an interview with Radio North 104.5FM, calling them "complete rubbish." According to him, "We are not doing anything with the Joint List. My partners are fighters and Zionists." Lapid also addressed reports of a planned Israeli strike on Iran that was blocked by the US, claiming that "there is no intelligence reason to attack Iran now," and that the discussion is a "political game" by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Lapid attacked Netanyahu and the coalition's policy on conscription, calling for the elections to pass without a military operation. He clarified that the decision on the leadership of the change bloc will only be made after the election results are published.
