It's no longer a "handful": Jewish rioters have become a threat to Israel from within | Israel Ziv

Israel Ziv argues in an opinion piece that the Jewish rioters in Judea and Samaria are no longer a 'fringe handful' but an organized fascist movement threatening Israel from within, enjoying political backing and endangering soldiers and civilians.

Israel Ziv, a reserve major general, argues in an opinion piece in Maariv that the phenomenon of Jewish rioters in Judea and Samaria has transformed from a 'fringe handful' into a real internal threat to the State of Israel. He describes a series of violent incidents over the past year, including the burning of a house in the village of Jallud while residents were rescued by IDF soldiers, the wounding of Border Police fighters, and the torching of a mosque in Qusra. Ziv notes that the IDF has been forced to add three battalions to secure new outposts at the expense of other sectors, and that one unauthorized entry ended in the deaths of two officers. He calls the phenomenon 'deep, ugly, and institutionalized fascism' that enjoys political backing and weak enforcement, warning that it is destroying the country's values, international standing, and stirring antisemitism. Ziv calls on citizens to come to their senses and choose the country's future.
