The Gaza Ministry of Health released the toll of three years of the Israeli war on the Strip, including detailed figures of the victims. The total number of martyrs reached 74,237 and the wounded 175,267. Children, women, and the elderly constituted the largest proportion: 21,976 children killed and 45,569 injured, 11,301 women killed and 24,537 injured, and 5,405 elderly killed and 12,269 injured. The ministry documented the killing of 1,125 children under the age of one, including 612 who were born and killed during the aggression. The war resulted in 1,134 amputations among children, 71,846 children orphaned, and 914,102 children deprived of education. Regarding the health system, 19 hospitals were completely out of service out of 38, and 19 are operating partially. 1,723 medical staff were killed, and 362 were arrested. 466 deaths due to malnutrition were recorded. 21,000 patients are awaiting medical evacuation, and 2,027 died while waiting. The ministry warned of serious psychological repercussions: 98% of young people suffer from constant anxiety, and 56% meet the criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder. It called for urgent international intervention.
