Shlomo Scharf, former coach of the Israel national football team, is establishing a large-scale memorial project in memory of his granddaughter Mai Na'im, who was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023. In a special interview with his daughter Anat, Scharf shares the deep pain: "I was on the verge of total collapse," and the anger that "this could have been prevented, and that's what angers me more than anything." The family chooses to commemorate Mai by spreading the light and joy that characterized her: a children's show and play inspired by her, a memory book, a restaurant named after her, and a life-saving ambulance bearing her name. About the ambulance, Scharf said: "Is there anything more noble than this?"
