Is the Likud comeback in the mandate polls a bluff? "Depends on how you count" | "Maariv" pollster

Maariv pollster Dr. Menachem Lazar estimates that the change bloc was close to achieving a majority even without an Arab party, but in recent weeks support for it has declined. According to him, the rising weight of the Arab parties harms the bloc, and their unification is expected to yield 13-14 mandates. Ofer Winter's party is teetering on the electoral threshold, with only 31% confidence among its voters.

Maariv pollster Dr. Menachem Lazar estimates in the latest poll that the Likud comeback in the mandate polls may be misleading, and depends on how you count. According to him, the change bloc was close to achieving a majority even without any Arab party, but in recent weeks support for it has declined. As the weight of the Arab parties within the 120 mandates increases, this bloc will receive fewer. A unification of three Arab parties is expected to yield 13 or 14 mandates, if not more. Ofer Winter's party, "Amcha Israel," is teetering on the electoral threshold, and only 31% of those who say they will vote for it are completely sure. In contrast, Yoaz Hendel and Zalicha's party is in a more secure position, but not significantly. The poll indicates significant uncertainty that may harm the loyalty of supporters of small parties on election day.
