Iran announces new military capabilities and threatens strikes

Iran warned the US that American ships in the Indian Ocean would become targets if war resumes. Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, announced enhanced missile, electronic warfare, and defensive capabilities, including increasing hypersonic missile speed from Mach 6 to Mach 10. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf called on regional countries to form a new order and stated that Iran will not open the Strait of Hormuz until its demands are met.

He also reported that Tehran's position has been conveyed to the American side through intermediaries, and Iran does not intend to open the Strait of Hormuz until its demands are met. The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a security warning for the cities of Taif and Yanbu.
