Indictment filed against Doron Weizman suspected of murder in Caesarea restaurant

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Doron Weizman, suspected of murdering Yanis Yusheyev, may he rest in peace, at a restaurant in Caesarea. According to the indictment, Weizman armed himself with a weapon, arrived at the restaurant in a stolen car, ordered food, and waited for the victim's arrival, whom he shot in the head at close range. The indictment lists 38 prior convictions.

The State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment this morning (Thursday) against Doron Weizman, suspected of murdering Yanis Yusheyev, a father of three, at a restaurant in Caesarea. According to the indictment, Weizman armed himself with a weapon and arrived at the restaurant in a stolen car with fake license plates. He ordered food and waited at the scene for the victim. When the victim left the restaurant with his friends, Weizman tracked his movements, approached him, aimed the weapon at his head, and shot him at close range. The victim's death was declared at the scene. In the request for detention until the end of proceedings, the prosecution noted that Weizman has 38 prior convictions and has served lengthy prison terms in the past. The acts were carried out, in the words of the request, "with chilling composure, after prior planning, in broad daylight, in a crowded restaurant." Weizman is charged with aggravated intentional murder, weapons offenses, driving without a license, and driving without insurance.
