MK Oded Forer (Yisrael Beiteinu) was interviewed on 103fm and addressed several political issues ahead of the 2026 elections. Forer refused to explicitly address Benny Gantz's departure from political life, saying: 'A person's honor is his own, I wish Benny Gantz success in the future. I leave all the interpretations to you.' He clarified that the party's main goal is to replace the current government, and called on the four Zionist parties opposing the government to together bring more than 61 seats. Forer expressed confidence in victory, saying: 'First of all, we will have 61.' He presented goals for the next government: a universal conscription law, a state commission of inquiry, and a constitution. Regarding the recommendation for a prime ministerial candidate, Forer said the decision would be made in coordination among the four parties, but clarified that in his opinion Avigdor Lieberman is the most suitable candidate. He also referred to US President Trump's statements, claiming that Trump prefers Netanyahu because he complies with his demands. Forer emphasized that an Israeli prime minister must put the national interest first, and that the Israeli public will decide the country's political future.
