"If we don't do it now - the State of Israel will fall apart": Yoaz Hendel's warning

Yoaz Hendel, whose party did not pass the electoral threshold, attacked on 103FM the possibility that the Change Bloc would reach a compromise with the Haredim on the conscription issue, and warned that if they do not act now, the State of Israel will fall apart.

Yoaz Hendel, head of the Reservists' Party which did not pass the electoral threshold in the 2026 elections, attacked in an interview on 103FM the possibility that the Change Bloc would reach a compromise with the Haredi parties on the conscription law. Hendel said: "If we don't do it now - the State of Israel will fall apart," and accused the parties that promised to take care of those who serve of abandoning their principles. He added that "we have no governance in the Negev and the Galilee, we have an Arab sector that sings 'Biladi Biladi', and on the other side shtetls that sing about 'the rule of the heretics'." Hendel emphasized that he was elected by 155,000 votes, which are not enough for the current Knesset, but he will continue the fight from the outside so that the State of Israel does not disintegrate into autonomies.
