Hezbollah prepares shelling of Israel - assessment

Lebanese military sources told the Emirati site Erem News that Hezbollah has intensified the transfer of weapons to villages west of the "yellow line", south of the Litani River. This involves large shipments of precision missiles, air defense systems, and ammunition. The actions are linked to the weakening of the group's ability to hold positions, particularly the Ali Taher hill. Some weapons have been moved to the Iqlim al-Tuffah, Jabal al-Rayhan, and Jabal Safi areas, including near residential homes.

This involves large shipments of precision missiles, air defense systems, weapons, and ammunition. The sources link these actions to the weakening of the group's ability to hold several strategically important positions, primarily the Ali Taher hill area. Thus, the terrorists may be able to strike Israel. The sources emphasized that Hezbollah has also increased the movement of weapons and military equipment warehouses to the Iqlim al-Tuffah, Jabal al-Rayhan, and Jabal Safi areas. According to them, some terrorist commanders have also moved to these areas. The reshuffling is part of a reorganization aimed at forming more protected rear positions and moving them away from areas under the impact of large-scale Israeli fire strikes. According to unconfirmed information, some of the weapons removed from tunnels and positions that the organization was forced to abandon, including in the Ali al-Taher area, have been moved to new facilities in several towns and villages. Some of these are in close proximity to residential homes and destroyed buildings. Hezbollah fighters have been sent to guard the weapons warehouses until the redeployment is complete.
