In a special interview on the Tiltil taxi podcast, Yoaz Hendel, former Minister of Finance and Communications, sharply attacks the coalition partnerships and the inequality in the burden. Hendel, who is currently running with the Reservists and Economic Party alongside Prof. Yaron Zelicha, says that politics led to October 7 and must lead Israel out of the crisis. He levels harsh criticism at Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, saying: "You are harming the State of Israel by giving money to draft dodgers and not giving money to those who enlist. You are harming mutual responsibility and my Jewish values." Hendel also attacks National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir over the lack of governance in the Negev and Galilee. He expresses cautious optimism and bets that his party will be the surprise of the elections, representing citizens who are broken by the political and economic situation.
