"Hamas? Part of it is a charity organization": A charged meeting of extremes with MK Yasser Hujirat from Ra'am

MK Yasser Hujirat from Ra'am said in an interview with "Kabinet Shishi" that Hamas is not a terrorist organization but a charity organization, and that Bennett, Lieberman, and Eisenkot will sit with Ra'am after the elections. He avoided recognizing Hamas as a terrorist organization and called for continuing a policy of peace instead of assassinations in Gaza.

MK Yasser Hujirat from Ra'am was interviewed this evening (Friday) on the program "Kabinet Shishi" on i24NEWS, in an interview defined as "a charged meeting of extremes." Hujirat said that Hamas is not a terrorist organization, but an organization part of which is a charity organization, and the other part is more responsible for the right to existence and recognition as a state. He avoided direct recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization when asked about it. He further claimed that opposition leaders — Bennett, Lieberman, and Eisenkot — will sit with Ra'am after the elections, contrary to the bloc's attempts to hide the partnership with the Arab parties. Hujirat called for continuing a policy of peace instead of a policy of assassinations in Gaza, and said that politicians speak to their base but also try to take votes from the right side to form a government.
