Hamas congratulates Islamic Jihad on its 39th anniversary: A qualitative addition to the national movement

In a statement, Hamas affirmed its commitment to unity and joint coordination with Islamic Jihad and other factions, praising the movement's sacrifices in confronting the occupation.
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, extended warmest congratulations and blessings to the leadership of the Islamic Jihad Movement, headed by Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah, members of the political bureau, and all the movement's cadres and fighters, on the occasion of its 39th anniversary. Hamas affirmed in a statement that the launch of the Islamic Jihad Movement constituted a qualitative addition to the resistance and liberation project and to the Palestinian national movement, praising the great sacrifices made by the movement through offering its finest leaders, founders, and fighters on the path to defeating the occupation. It noted that this anniversary coincides with the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, reaffirming its full commitment to unity of ranks and permanent joint coordination with the Islamic Jihad Movement and all other national action factions. Hamas stressed that this unity embodies an impenetrable shield against the occupation's schemes and will remain steadfast until the liberation of the land and holy sites and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
