The forces, operating under Division 36, fought for long months on the strategic Beaufort Ridge and in adjacent sectors, aiming to push back the threat to the northern communities. In a focused operation that reached the Litani River, the soldiers uncovered and destroyed Hezbollah weapons depots and compounds, as part of an overall tally of over 900 terrorist infrastructures destroyed. Within the compounds, extensive weaponry was seized: dozens of RPG rockets, powerful explosive charges, Kalashnikov rifles, and advanced explosive drones. The brigade commander, Colonel Ayoub Kayouf, held a combat and emotional closing ceremony in the field. In his remarks, he emphasized the brigade's values and the Golani spirit, and dwelled on the heavy price exacted by the fighting alongside the security achievement: communities leading normal lives, celebrating holidays, businesses open, and kindergartens operating routinely. The activity aimed to establish a security zone cleared of terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, cut off Hezbollah's supply lines, and deny it the ability to recover quickly.
