Eilam described bin Salman as a "resounding failure" and said that "the sounds of sawing off one of his legs are already being heard." According to him, the Saudi army, with its 260,000 soldiers and hundreds of F-15 aircraft, cannot cope with a local terrorist organization. Eilam noted that Saudi Arabia launched a campaign on July 13 by attacking the airport in Sanaa, but bin Salman zigzagged and the story fizzled out.
