Former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo sharply attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a podcast hosted by Guy Peleg. Pardo accused Netanyahu of lying to the people of Israel about the Iranian nuclear threat, claiming that Iran did not have a nuclear bomb in hand. According to him, Netanyahu declared a war of survival and deliberately prolonged it to avoid being held accountable for the October 7 failure. Pardo also harshly criticized the assassination of Iran's leader Khamenei, which he described as a dangerous move that opened a Pandora's box of revenge for generations, without achieving any strategic advantage. He warned that the assassination could endanger the security of Israeli leaders in the future. His remarks join similar criticism from the head of the Democrats, Yair Golan.
