Former Gaza hostage Noa Argamani joins Vine Ventures VC

Noa Argamani, who was abducted by Hamas from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, and rescued in June 2024 during Operation Arnon, has officially joined venture capital firm Vine Ventures as Platform Manager. In the role, she will manage the firm's community of entrepreneurs and facilitate connections among them and with other companies. Argamani told Business Insider that venture capital is the right place for her to learn and make an impact, adding that she wants to be surrounded by people who dream big. She said her mission is to help Israeli startups reach the market and break through barriers. After her release, Argamani campaigned in the US for the release of hostages and attended pro-Israel events at Congress and the White House. She spoke about her interrupted studies at Ben-Gurion University, where she developed AI-based projects to analyze anti-Israel rhetoric and a plan to launch a company assisting children on the autism spectrum. After graduating, she said she received multiple job offers but felt returning to software development would be a waste, wanting a role with impact. Vine Ventures founder Eric Reiner invited her to join as an intern last April. The firm manages $500 million in assets.
