Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said today (Monday) that Israel is a strategic asset for the United States, and that relations between the countries are based on the value Israel brings to America. The remarks were made at an event held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem for approximately 250 entrepreneurs, investors, senior technology company executives, and decision-makers from all 50 US states. Sa'ar emphasized that the alliance is based on shared strategic interests and challenges, not just values. The delegation, called Flightech, is a flagship project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the "50 States, One Israel" initiative, launched in 2025. The visit will continue until the end of the week and will include meetings with the President of Israel, senior high-tech figures, entrepreneurs, and academics, as well as visits to Yad Vashem and the Gaza Envelope.
