Bezeq Group is partnering with real estate company Edgar to establish a server farm in Petah Tikva with a capacity of at least 16 megawatts. The board approved signing a non-binding memorandum of understanding, with 90 days of exclusivity for signing a detailed agreement. The project will operate under an equal revenue-sharing model: Edgar will provide the land and physical infrastructure, while Bezeq will purchase equipment, lead the technological setup, and manage operations and marketing. The total investment is estimated at 400-500 million shekels (200-250 million shekels per side), spread over 2027-2028. Commercial operation is planned for 2028. Bezeq estimates annual revenues of 50-80 million shekels and EBITDA of 25-40 million shekels. Lior Vider, founder of 'Mechpile Revah', defines the move as a correct and necessary strategic step that opens a new revenue stream without real estate risks.
