Father from Sharon beats his 9-year-old daughter, rapes his wife - and threatens to bury them

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed a serious indictment against a resident of the Sharon region, charging him with raping his wife, assaulting her and their 9-year-old minor daughter, and making death threats. The defendant struck his daughter with a glass vase and a bunch of keys, kicked her, threatened to run over and bury his wife, and raped her by force. The prosecution described a degrading and objectifying attitude toward the victim.

The State Prosecutor's Office filed a serious indictment this morning (Monday) against a resident of the Sharon region for a series of severe violent offenses committed against his family members. According to the indictment, the defendant assaulted his wife on several occasions, including striking her forcefully with a shoe inside their vehicle following an argument over a shoe she had purchased. Additionally, the defendant assaulted his minor daughter, approximately nine years old, striking her while swinging a glass vase over her head, kicking her, and hitting her with a flip-flop and a bunch of keys. Furthermore, the defendant threatened to run over his wife and daughter, and even threatened to bury his wife and burn her along with their daughters. On the night following the violent incidents, the defendant demanded that his wife enter the bedroom with him, where he stripped and raped her by force despite her resistance. The arrest request highlights the defendant's dangerousness and his degrading and objectifying attitude toward the victim. In her testimony, the complainant described that the defendant told her he brought her to his home 'for this [sexual intercourse] and for cleaning.' The prosecution stated that this harsh statement, along with the forced sexual intercourse and ongoing violence, indicate that the defendant treated the victim as an object meant to serve his needs, and that his conduct contradicts the fundamental values of a proper society.
