A new study conducted by "Fake Reporter" reveals a sharp rise in racist incitement against Arab citizens on Israeli social media networks as the election date approaches. The study covered the period from August 15 to October 14, 2026, and monitored about 400,000 mentions of Arab citizens, garnering nearly 67 million views. This represents an increase of over 100% in the number of mentions compared to the same period last year, while the number of views rose from about 26 million to nearly 67 million. The study showed increasing targeting of Arab doctors, teachers, and bus drivers, with the number of mentions related to Arab medical staff reaching about four times that recorded in the corresponding period last year, and the increase exceeding 100% in the volume of discussion about Arab workers in the education and public transportation sectors. The study indicated that this escalation reflects a pattern of incitement targeting professions that form an essential part of daily life and rely on direct contact between Arab and Jewish citizens, with its most prominent features being the portrayal of Arab doctors, teachers, and drivers as a source of threat and raising fears about their presence.
