Exciting surprise for soldiers: The Four Species delivered to their doorstep

Hundreds of lone soldiers from abroad, widows, and orphans received holiday kits of the Four Species at their doorstep, initiated by the 'Chabad Kollel' organization. Volunteers arrived at bases and apartments, distributing premium lulavs and etrogs, aiming to allow everyone to celebrate Sukkot with joy, even far from home.

Hundreds of lone soldiers from abroad serving in the IDF, along with hundreds of widows and orphans across the country, were surprised to find special holiday kits containing the Four Species at their doorstep. The initiative by the 'Chabad Kollel' organization aimed to bring the holiday tradition to those celebrating far from their families or facing complex challenges. The organization, which usually provides financial assistance, focuses on spiritual support during holidays. The head of the organization, Rabbi Shalom Duchman, explained that the operation was born from a sense of mission following the Lubavitcher Rebbe's instruction, with the goal of enabling everyone to fulfill the holiday mitzvah with joy. The operation focused on two groups: widows and orphans, and the lone soldiers department. The soldier logistics are led by Mordi Botnik and Shai Vizel, while the orphans and widows department is managed by Rachel Marton. Volunteer teams, assisted by the Raner family, arrived at bases, soldiers' apartments, and family homes.
