Evacuation or construction: what each party's plan is for Judea and Samaria

ynet approached the parties running in the 2026 elections and asked about their positions on core issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: settlement, sovereignty, future evacuation as part of a political agreement, illegal outposts, and Palestinian construction in Area C. The responses reveal deep gaps between the right, center, and left. Yashar supports strengthening settlement blocs and establishing new settlements legally, and opposes a Palestinian state. Likud refused to respond. Together supports legal Jewish settlement and opposes evacuation of settlements under any circumstances. Yisrael Beiteinu supports strengthening settlement and applying sovereignty in Area C. The Democrats call for separation as part of a regional move and evacuation of illegal outposts. United Torah Judaism and Shas do not raise the issue as a central banner. Otzma Yehudit supports establishing new settlements, full application of sovereignty, and encouraging voluntary emigration. The Joint List calls for ending the occupation and evacuating all settlements.
