Three days before the national memorial ceremony of the October 7 families and the "Kumu" movement, public response is at its peak: more than 50,000 Israelis have already ordered tickets for the event, which is expected to be the largest memorial ceremony the country has known. The organizers announced this morning (Sunday). This year, for the first time, the ceremony will be held in an "open park" format without bleachers, aiming to allow tens of thousands of people to gather together under the open sky. The organizers called on the public not to settle for community screenings, but to physically come to Yarkon Park. The ceremony host, former hostage Eli Sharabi, stated: "I call on everyone who comes to the park - put the disputes aside and respect the sanctity of the occasion." Meanwhile, the "Kumu" movement expanded its "Israel Does Not Forget" campaign with billboards across the country. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 7, at 9:15 PM in Yarkon Park.
