Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yashar party, delivered a statement this evening (Tuesday) marking three years since the October 7 massacre, alongside Shira Shapira, placed 10th on his party list, mother of Aner Shapira who fought heroically and was murdered in the "death shelter." Eisenkot issued an emergency call: "If we continue on the current path, Israel will very soon cease to be the country we know." He attacked the leadership for failing to learn lessons from the gravest failure in the state's history, for division and incitement, and for statements against IDF soldiers. He referred to remarks by Rabbi Dov Lando against religious Zionist youth, and called for a civic awakening before it is too late.
