The Israeli offensive cyber company Paragon announced a significant step on its path to an IPO: a merger with a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) traded on Nasdaq, which will make it part of a public company. The move comes about a year and a half after it was acquired by the American investment fund AE Industrial Partners and merged with the American cyber company REDLattice, which operates with security and government bodies in the US. The two companies together recorded revenues of $267 million in the 12 months ending June 2026, a 29% increase compared to the same period. Paragon was founded in 2019 by former Israeli intelligence community members Idan Nurik, Liad Abraham, and Igor Bogudlov, along with Ehud Schneorson, former commander of Unit 8200. Prominent investors include former Prime Minister Ehud Barak. The company's main product is the cellular espionage and surveillance system Graphite. The company emphasized that Israel will remain the center of research, development, and innovation, and that its commitment to working with democratic governments and regulatory compliance will continue.
