Drowning in WhatsApp group messages? This move will bring you order

WhatsApp has begun rolling out a smart filter that consolidates tags and reactions in groups and communities into one place. WhatsApp has started deploying a new smart filter that consolidates all direct tags and reactions in groups and communities into one place. The filter appears at the top of the chats tab, alongside existing filters like 'Unread messages' and 'Groups', and displays a numerical badge of pending notifications. Unlike regular notifications that are cleared from the lock screen, the list remains until the user enters the conversation and addresses it. The feature is now available in the Android beta version (version 2.26.42.12), according to a report by WABetaInfo. It can be disabled through settings. The rollout to all users and iOS devices is expected in future updates.
