Netanyahu's advisors deleted questions for the interviewer about the judicial overhaul, 10/7, and reservists. The Tel Aviv University Student Union chair was invited to interview Netanyahu at the Likud headquarters, but his advisors deleted questions on sensitive topics, claiming they "don't currently serve the campaign." She refused and left.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's advisors invited the Tel Aviv University Student Union chair, Gal Shinoter, to interview him at the Likud election headquarters. When she arrived, she presented a list of questions, and his advisors began deleting questions about the judicial overhaul, responsibility for the 10/7 massacre, and reserve soldiers. According to her, they told her the topics "don't currently serve the campaign" and that it was a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Among the deleted questions: one about funding academic institutions without core curriculum studies, one about labeling the university as "traitorous," and one about the connection between responsibility and authority in the context of 10/7. Shinoter ultimately refused to conduct the interview and left. Likud responded that the publication is incorrect and that the filming was postponed due to scheduling issues. The Student Union stated that participation in the interview was conditional on freedom of questions, and since no agreement was reached, the interview did not take place.
