Dispute over Tel Aviv headquarters renovation: Check Point sued for NIS 7.8 million
A. Sadeh Projects Ltd. has filed a lawsuit against Check Point Software Technologies for NIS 7.8 million, claiming the company did not pay the full amount for finishing and systems work at its Tel Aviv headquarters building. Check Point responded: "The timing of the lawsuit raises questions."
Contracting company A. Sadeh Projects has filed a lawsuit in the Tel Aviv District Court against cybersecurity giant Check Point, for NIS 7.8 million. The lawsuit concerns finishing and systems work performed by the company at Check Point's headquarters building on Hasolelim Street in the Bitzaron neighborhood of Tel Aviv. The total value of the work was NIS 92 million, most of which was paid. A. Sadeh claims it fulfilled all its obligations under a signed settlement agreement, and that Check Point did not pay the full consideration. The claimed amount consists of NIS 4.2 million remaining to be paid, about half a million shekels for additional work, plus VAT, linkage differentials, and interest. It is further alleged that Check Point acted aggressively toward A. Sadeh and placed obstacles on the execution of the work. Check Point responded that it will study the statement of claim, and noted that there is a pending lawsuit against A. Sadeh regarding defects in the work, and that the timing of the lawsuit raises questions. A. Sadeh's attorney, Adv. Maoz Rot, stated that the claims are substantiated and backed by documents.
