Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions and measures imposed by Israeli occupation forces on those arriving in the occupied city of Jerusalem. The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem stated that tens of thousands of worshippers performed the prayer. Occupation forces imposed restrictions on worshippers' access through the military checkpoints surrounding Jerusalem, and prevented dozens of young men from reaching the site after detaining them at checkpoints and iron barriers.
