A specialist who examined her requested a referral to an eye doctor, but no urgency was found for an ER visit. After the holiday, she saw an eye doctor who referred her for further testing. In a hearing, attorney Chen Meiri argued that Sasson had suffered a stroke, and a medical document revealed a tumor was found in her head. Sasson has been hospitalized since September 22. The court approved expanded family visits despite police opposition, citing her complex medical condition.
