Israeli cybersecurity company Sentra has completed a $150 million Series C funding round led by Capital One Ventures, bringing its total capital raised since inception to over $250 million. The company, which develops enterprise data security solutions, reports 300% annual growth and employs 130 people, 65 of them in Tel Aviv. CEO Yoav Regev said the company's valuation has increased significantly compared to the previous round but declined to disclose the figure. According to him, artificial intelligence is accelerating the need for data security solutions, and the next fundraising is expected to be sooner. The funds will be used to expand R&D activities, recruit employees, and increase sales operations, with an emphasis on expansion in Europe, particularly in London. The company was founded in 2021 by four entrepreneurs with cybersecurity backgrounds, including Regev, who served in Unit 8200.
