Dramatic rescue footage in Australia: ABC reporter Will Murray and another passerby, Daniel Heaney, rescued a driver from his car sinking in floodwaters north of Brisbane. Murray, who was covering the floods, noticed the car being swept away by the current, called emergency services, and after the driver disappeared from his sight, jumped into the water. The two swam to the car, tried to open the doors without success, and finally managed to open the rear passenger-side door. The driver made his way out, and all three reached safety. Murray recounted: 'The three of us hugged each other tightly, and we really felt an immense relief.' The report presents the event from the reporter's perspective but does not include the voices of the driver or the second rescuer.
