Chairman of Amcha Yisrael in an interview with 'Meet the Press'

Chairman of Amcha Yisrael, Ofer Winter, clarified in an interview with 'Meet the Press' that his party will run to the end regardless of polls, and reiterated his intention to recommend Netanyahu for Prime Minister — but emphasized that the support is not unconditional. Winter ruled out sitting with Yair Golan, did not rule out sitting with the Haredim, and demanded a government that is not dependent on Goldknopf's '61st finger'.

Less than three weeks before the 2026 elections, Chairman of the Amcha Yisrael party Ofer Winter was interviewed on 'Meet the Press' and clarified that his party will run to the end, regardless of polls — in some seat polls the party does not pass the electoral threshold. Winter reiterated his intention to recommend Netanyahu for Prime Minister, but emphasized that the support is not unconditional: 'We don't work for a person, we work for the people.' According to him, if his demands are not met — a decision in Gaza, emigration from Gaza, the Servicemen Law, and real recruitment — 'we are not part of it.' He ruled out sitting with Yair Golan, and said that the government of Gadi Eisenkot, with Golan and with Arabs, is 'a danger to the State of Israel.' He did not rule out sitting with the Haredim, but conditioned: 'With Goldknopf it won't happen.' Winter addressed attacks on members of his list — Sigal Kraunik, Lali Deri, and Yosef Haddad — and said 'you went too far.' He dismissed claims that he intimidated brigade commanders before the maneuver in Gaza, and said that on the contrary — 'I lifted their spirits.'
