A routine argument over a parking spot in Kfar Saba escalated this evening (Saturday) into a serious threat incident, at the center of which are a father and his son from Kadima-Zoran who were arrested. According to the suspicion, the incident began when a woman was standing in an empty parking spot on a street in the city and asked to save it for her partner. A resident of Kfar Saba who was looking for parking in the area and could not find an empty spot asked to park there, but the woman refused to move. The argument between the two escalated when a man, suspected to be the father of her partner, arrived at the scene and threatened the driver with a bat. Shortly after, the main suspect, the man's son, arrived, pulled out a gun he held with a license, and threatened the driver while threatening to shoot him. The driver called the police, and officers from the Kfar Saba station quickly located the father and then the son while he was holding the weapon. The two were arrested and taken for questioning. The police are examining the circumstances of the incident, and the main suspect is expected to be brought to court for a hearing on extending his detention.
