The Likud party announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will file a defamation lawsuit for half a million shekels against Yoav Horowitz, partner of Gadi Eisenkot, following remarks he made in an interview with Channel 12, in which he called Netanyahu a "Qatari agent." Horowitz claimed that Netanyahu is coordinated and aware of the ties between his advisor Jonathan Urich and Qatar. Likud clarified: "Whoever lies and incites – will pay."

The Likud party announced this evening (Thursday) that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will file a defamation lawsuit for half a million shekels against Yoav Horowitz, partner of Gadi Eisenkot. The lawsuit stems from remarks Horowitz made in an interview with Channel 12, in which he claimed that Netanyahu is a "Qatari agent." Horowitz referred to the affair of the ties between Netanyahu's advisor, Jonathan Urich, and Qatar, and said that Netanyahu is coordinated and knows everything. Likud stated: "Whoever lies and incites – will pay." Jonathan Urich responded to the remarks in a post on X, in which he wrote that he forgives Horowitz but regrets becoming "an unnecessary battering ram." Urich claimed that the attack stems from "panic in the Eisenkot camp" due to the lack of a government without the Arab parties.
