British pop icon Boy George arrived in Israel on Saturday ahead of two performances in Tel Aviv on November 4 and November 7. He has faced widespread condemnation and boycotts for his outspoken support for Israel following the October 7, 2023, massacre. Upon arrival, he said, 'I am here with you — out of love, out of a belief in peace and out of a desire for us to dance, live and celebrate together again.' Promoter Guy Besser from Live Nation Israel and Sylvan Adams, President of the World Jewish Congress Israel, welcomed him. Boy George discussed his song 'We Will Dance Again,' inspired by the Nova music festival attack. He will perform at Menora Mivtachim Arena on November 4 with guest singer Ivri Lider, and on November 7 in a special performance for the Nova community with DJ Ofer Nissim. Adams, the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem and Live Nation Israel donated 1,500 tickets for Nova survivors and bereaved families. Boy George will visit the Nova desert rave site on November 3 with Nova survivor and former hostage Omer Shem Tov.
