Findings of an investigation in Brazil reveal that a former Israeli Mossad agent helped Senator Flavio Bolsonaro and his family flee Brazil to the United States via Argentina, in violation of a court order. Bolsonaro, who lost the election to Lula, declared himself the 'legitimate leader' and accused the Supreme Court of stealing the election.

Findings of an investigation by Brazilian law enforcement authorities, reported by CNN, reveal that a former Israeli Mossad agent with American citizenship helped Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro and his family flee Brazil to the United States via Argentina, in violation of a court order that prohibited him from leaving the country. The former intelligence agent landed in Brazil on October 19, accompanied Bolsonaro from Brasília to the border, and the family crossed into Argentina in two vans. They then flew on a private executive jet to Miami. According to a report in the New York Times, upon landing in the United States, Bolsonaro presented a diplomatic passport that had previously been revoked. On Thursday, he declared himself the 'legitimate leader of Brazil' after losing the presidential election, and in an open letter accused the Supreme Court and President Lula of stealing the election. Lula's office called his flight 'a shameful act.'
