Bono noted that Netanyahu needs Ben-Gvir to maintain a majority in the government. At the same time, he emphasized that he considers the Hamas attack on October 7 a monstrous and diabolical attack and stated that he will continue to support Israel but also feels sincere sympathy for the Palestinian people. The artist also focused on the composition "The Tears of Things," inspired by the history of the Jewish people. According to Bono, the world today needs the moral values of Judaism, but the actions of the Israeli authorities cause him deep concern.
